Day to day Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Arusha

Arusha in Africa is your gateway to Tanzania’s treasure trove

Activity: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. You will be greeted by a representative who will transfer you to your accommodation. Spend the day relaxing and recovering from your journey, with the option to explore Arusha town if you arrive early.

Day 2 : Cultural Day Tour

Explore the City

After breakfast at Haradali Home, head out with your guide for a full day of cultural discovery in Arusha. Start at the colorful Maasai Market, where local artisans display handcrafted jewelry, beadwork, fabrics, and wood carvings—each piece reflecting the vibrant spirit of Tanzania. Continue to a bustling local food market, where you’ll experience the sights, sounds, and aromas of daily Tanzanian life. Walk among stalls overflowing with fresh fruits, spices, and traditional ingredients, gaining insight into the local cuisine and culture. At midday, enjoy a traditional Tanzanian lunch in town, where you’ll have the chance to sample authentic dishes like nyama choma (grilled meat), ugali, chapati, or banana stew—served in a casual local restaurant where locals dine.

After lunch, visit the Cultural Heritage Centre, an architectural gem housing a gallery of African art, carvings, and artifacts. Then head to Shanga, a unique social enterprise employing people with disabilities to create beautiful glassware, textiles, and jewelry from recycled materials. Take a guided tour of the workshop and see the creative process in action.

Day 4 : Mto wa Mbu Cultural Experience – Local Life, Lunch & Bicycle Adventure

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park

Depart from Haradali Home in Ngorongoro (Karatu) after an early breakfast, setting off with your guide and a packed lunch for a scenic journey toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.

The drive takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may catch glimpses of Maasai herders with their cattle and wildlife roaming freely across the highlands. As you climb the crater rim, enjoy panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater below before continuing on a gradual descent toward the vast plains of Serengeti.

This route is more than a transfer—it’s a continuation of your safari experience, with opportunities to see wildlife along the way.
