Day 1 : Tarangire National Park
Game drive at Tarangire
Begin your Tanzanian safari adventure with a visit to Tarangire National Park, a gem known for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by the sight of towering baobab trees and vast savannahs dotted with acacia woodlands. This park is renowned for its large elephant herds, and you can expect to see these majestic creatures roaming in their natural habitat. In addition to elephants, keep an eye out for zebras, wildebeests, and an array of antelopes. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the over 550 bird species that call Tarangire home. As the sun sets, you’ll head to your lodge for the night, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner while soaking in the beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 2 : Ngorongoro Crater
Game Drive at Ngorongoro
On the second day, embark on an early morning journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden” due to its breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Descending into the crater, you’ll be amazed by the sheer diversity of animals, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The crater floor is a haven for wildlife photographers, offering opportunities to capture stunning shots of flamingos around the soda lake, hippos wallowing in pools, and hyenas on the hunt. After a thrilling game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before making your way to your accommodation on the crater rim, where panoramic views will provide a perfect end to your day.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Game drive at Lake Manyara
Your final day takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but ecologically diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife. As you enter the park, you’ll drive through a lush groundwater forest before emerging onto the expansive shores of Lake Manyara, where you might spot flocks of pink flamingos. The park is also home to large troops of baboons, as well as giraffes, elephants, and hippos. A highlight of the day will be the opportunity to witness the tree-climbing lions, an unusual behavior that sets Manyara’s lions apart from others in Africa. After a fulfilling morning of wildlife viewing, enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the picnic spots with stunning views over the lake. In the afternoon, you’ll have time for one last game drive before heading back to Arusha, filled with unforgettable memories of your Tanzanian safari.
