Safety, Care & Gratitude in the Serengeti

During a recent safari in the Serengeti on 30/08/2026, our safari vehicle was involved in an unexpected incident and entered the Mara River.

We are incredibly grateful that all of our guests and our driver are safe and well. Their wellbeing was, and will always remain, our highest priority.

We sincerely appreciate the calmness, strength, and cooperation shown by everyone involved, as well as the support received during this difficult moment. What matters most to us is that our guests are continuing their journey and enjoying the rest of their holiday in Tanzania.

We remain thankful for the trust our guests placed in Nature Responsible Safari, and we are deeply touched by their kind words and continued confidence in our team.

With gratitude,
Nature Responsible Safari

A warm letter from our Travellers

“Based on our personal experience, we do not blame Nature Responsible for what happened. Unexpected situations and accidents can happen, and we do not want to speculate about the technical cause or responsibility while this is still being investigated. What we can say is that we were very happy with Nature Responsible, with our guide and with the way everything was handled.

If we were planning another safari in Tanzania tomorrow, we would have no hesitation in travelling with Nature Responsible again.

Most importantly, all four of us are doing very well. We are currently in Zanzibar continuing to enjoy our vacation, and thankfully the incident has not prevented us from enjoying the rest of our trip”
