Day 1 : Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti

Drive from Ngorongoro to Serengeti

Begin your safari adventure with an early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most spectacular wildlife havens on the planet, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” As you drive down into the crater, you’ll be greeted by a diverse array of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The crater floor is teeming with life, and you can expect to see zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and an abundance of bird species. After a thrilling game drive and a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you’ll leave the crater and drive to the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive as you traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the Serengeti in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Serengeti Full Day Game drive

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Known for its annual Great Migration, the Serengeti is home to over two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the incredible spectacle of thousands of animals on the move, crossing rivers and plains in search of fresh grazing lands. Even outside of the migration season, the Serengeti offers exceptional wildlife viewing. Spend the day on game drives, spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as elephants, giraffes, and a myriad of bird species. The sheer diversity and abundance of wildlife will leave you in awe.

Day 3: Serengeti Full Day Game Drive

Serengeti National Park

Continue your exploration of the Serengeti with another full day of game drives. This day provides the opportunity to delve deeper into the park’s different ecosystems, from the open grasslands of the central Serengeti to the rocky kopjes that serve as lookouts for lions and leopards. Visit the Seronera River, a prime spot for viewing hippos and crocodiles, and keep an eye out for the elusive African wild dog. The Serengeti’s varied landscapes provide endless opportunities for wildlife encounters and stunning photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, soaking in the sights and sounds of the savannah, before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, return to your lodge or camp, reflecting on the day’s incredible experiences.

On your final day, take a morning game drive in the Serengeti to capture any last glimpses of the wildlife before departing. The return trip offers a chance to relax and reflect on the unforgettable memories made during your safari adventure. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, where you can spend some time shopping for souvenirs or simply unwinding before your departure. Whether you are heading to the airport or extending your stay in Tanzania, your journey will be filled with the vibrant sights and sounds of the African wilderness
