Day to day Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive in Dar es Salaam
Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore Dar es Salaam at your own pace.

Day 2 : Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)
Nyerere National Park full Day
After an early breakfast, depart by road to Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most pristine wildlife areas. The drive offers beautiful views of rural Tanzania and local villages.
Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon at leisure or a short orientation walk around the camp.
Accommodation: Impala Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3 and 4 : Nyerere National Park – Game Drive & Boat Safari
Full Day Game drive
Today is a full day of exploration in Nyerere National Park.
Morning game drive: Discover elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wild dogs, and a wide variety of birdlife.
Afternoon boat safari: Cruise along the Rufiji River, observing hippos, crocodiles, and wildlife coming to drink at the riverbanks—a unique and peaceful safari experience only possible in Selous.

Day 5 : Nyerere – Mikumi National Park
Nyerere – Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, drive to Mikumi National Park, known for its open plains and excellent wildlife viewing.
Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive where you may see elephants, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and large herds of buffalo.

Day 6 : Mikumi National Park – Full Day Game Drive

Spend the day exploring Mikumi’s savannah landscapes, often compared to the Serengeti.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch inside the park, allowing maximum time with wildlife.

Day 7 : Mikumi – Iringa Highlands
Mikumi to Iringa
Depart Mikumi after breakfast and drive to Iringa, passing through scenic highlands and local farming communities.
Arrive in Iringa in the afternoon and relax at your lodge while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Accommodation: Sunset Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 8 : Iringa – Isimila Stone Pillars
Iringa
After breakfast, visit the famous Isimila Stone Pillars, an extraordinary natural and archaeological site formed over millions of years. Learn about early human history and enjoy a guided walk through this unique landscape.
Return to Iringa for the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 : Iringa – Ruaha National Park
Iringa
After breakfast, drive to Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest national park and a hidden gem known for dramatic landscapes and high predator density.
Arrive at your lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive along the Great Ruaha River.
Accommodation: Ruaha River Lodge

Day 10 and 11 : Ruaha National Park
Ruaha National Park
Enjoy a full day exploring Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest and most remote wilderness. Morning and afternoon game drives offer excellent chances to see large lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, massive elephant herds, and an incredible variety of birdlife with over 570 species recorded.
Return to the lodge during the heat of the day to relax and enjoy lunch, before heading out again in the late afternoon when wildlife becomes active. A rewarding day immersed in the wild beauty of southern Tanzania.

Day 12 : Departure
Depart
After breakfast, transfer to Ruaha airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Dar es Salaam.
