Day to day Itinerary

Day 1: Depart to Lake Chala

Lake Chala

Begin your adventure with a departure to the tranquil Lake Chala. Check into your accommodation at Lake Chala, a stunning crater lake located on the border between Tanzania and Kenya. Spend the evening relaxing by the lake and taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Overnight: Lake Chala Safari Lodge 

 

Day 2: Full Day Activities at Lake Chala

Lake Chala

Breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha. Transfer to Arusha Airport: Arrive at the airport at least an hour before your flight. Flight Flight Duration: Approximately 1-2 hours depending on the airstrip in Serengeti (Seronera, etc) Scenic Views: Enjoy aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and the vast plains of the Serengeti. Arrival in Serengeti

Enjoy a full day of activities at Lake Chala. Options include hiking around the lake, kayaking, bird watching, or simply relaxing by the water. The pristine environment and diverse wildlife make it a perfect spot for nature lovers. Return to your accommodation at Lake Chala for the night.

Day 3: Travel to Tarakea with a Stop at the Orphanage

Tarakea

Depart from Lake Chala and travel to Tarakea, making a meaningful stop at a local orphanage. Spend some time interacting with the children and learning about the efforts being made to support them. Continue to Tarakea and settle into your home stay, where you’ll be welcomed by your host family.

Day 4: Volunteer at Naiyeme School

Naiyeme

Dedicate the day to volunteering at Naiyeme School. Engage with students, assist with teaching, and participate in various school activities.
