Day to day Itinerary

3 Night in West Kilimanjaro

West Kilimanjaro is a remote wilderness area of 250 square kilometres in size.

Day 1

Welcome to Tanzania, is this your first-time visiting Tanzania? We hope you will love and enjoy our country. After logging in directly go to the passport stamp desk. After the seal make sure your passport is stamped on the correct date. Outside the building your safari guide is eagerly looking forward to showing you the beauty of this country and its people. After greetings, you will head straight to west Kilimanjaro Makoa Farm private mobile camp for dinner and dinner.

2nd Day

Day 2

Your beautiful first morning in Tanzania, the beautiful sunrise is giving a signal that you are safe in safe hands. Today we will leave a little early. After breakfast we will start the ride ready to watch the various animals on a horseback. We will see zebra, buffalos, Thomson and many more, if we are lucky enough, we will see cheetah as well. Don’t forget herds of elephants too. As we continue riding, you will be amazed with the beauty of this area with its lush vegetation, small hills, and majestic mountains. On one side you will see Mount Kilimanjaro and on the other side you will see Mount Meru, how beautiful it is, in the distance you will see Mount Longido and Namanga.

In the afternoon you will get lunch then you will leave by a 4X4 safari vehicle for a visit to the Maasai family to see how they live, income generating activities and so on. In the evening you will return to your mobile camp, relax, dinner and overnight.

3rd Days

Day 3

It’s another day to see animals on horseback, today we have many hours to do it. we will go south to the north, east and west of this area for more exploration. In the afternoon we will have lunch and continue exploring the area. Later in the day we will meet special vehicles to take us to the Makoa farm lodge, the horses will be transported to Makoa farm as well. Makoa farm lodge has a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro, spend your evening enjoying this spectacular view of the tallest mountain in Africa. In the evening have dinner and overnight at Makoa Farm Lodge.

Departure Day

Flight Back Home

This is the last day in this beautiful area that we believe you have loved and enjoyed riding horses amidst wildlife, mountains, valleys, bushes, and plains. After breakfast, you can do the following before you leave,
Horse riding at the borders of the Makoa farm lodge, visiting the Makoa farm, visiting the Makoa farm-funded education project, and you can also visit a rescue center that has a variety of animals resulting being orphans, injured, or extinction from their environment. The choice is yours. you will use your room until it is time to leave. In the evening you will be taken to the airport for departure or to continue the journey elsewhere.
