What to expect

Nature Responsible Safaris has a special treat for you! Spend three days searching for migration in Ndutu! The remaining days will be spent in Tarangire, Manyara, and Ngorongoro; on the way back from Serengeti, the Ngorongoro crater will be included. This popular safari in Tanzania will take you to the southern Serengeti’s Ndutu plains to witness the massive wildebeest migration and will provide you with nine picturesque days in the vast Serengeti savannas teeming with wildebeest herds. Enjoy a Tanzanian safari that combines the Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire national parks!

Day to day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport

Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport, and proceed to the Immigration desk for VISA Stamp. Before leave the desk please make sure your stamp is correctly stamped with correct dates. Outside the airport you will find your safari guide with a sign board with one of your names. Soon after checking in the vehicle, you will proceed to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Haradali’s home (this is our home, we have rooms for guests and I hope you will love the experience sharing a home with us)

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch, the park is beautiful with a lot of baobab trees and big groups of elephants. Have full day game drive in the park, enjoy your lunch at the picnic site, in the evening drive to Simba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park for full day game drive. Manyara is beautiful with its vegetation, landscape and the lake make it even more beautiful. Enjoy your packed lunch then proceed with game drive. In the evening drive to Marera Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4 & 5

Marera To Serengeti Park

Depart just after breakfast, your safari guide will make sure that your packed lunches are in the vehicle. Start your safari to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation area. You can stop at the view point for few minutes just to view the crater from above, soon you will visit the crater. Arrive in Serengeti late afternoon then stop for picnic lunch then proceed with game drive in this beautiful endless plain. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. The essential features of climate, vegetation and fauna have barely changed in the past million years. Early man himself made an appearance in Olduvai Gorge about two million years ago. Some patterns of life, death, adaptation and migration are as old as the hills themselves. Your nights will be at Serengeti Pamoja Tented Camp.

Day 6 & 7

Serengeti National Park To Ndutu Area

After breakfast depart Serengeti to Ndutu area for game drive, remember Ndutu is also the best place to visit from December to end March, as it is a carving period for wildebeest. Arrive at Ndutu Heritage Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 8

Full Day Crater Tour

After breakfast depart and descend into the crater some 600 meters to experience the true spirit of Africa, the Africa of bygone days when you explore the crater as permanent home of wildlife population, long regarded as Africa’s “Garden of Eden”. From the comfort of your 4 x 4 vehicle crafted exclusively for game viewing will give an opportunity to spot Big five – Elephant, buffalo, leopard, black mane lion and the rare black rhinoceros- as well hyenas, jackals, flamingos and the yawning hippos. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the heart of this ancient volcanic crater close to the hippo pool. Early evening drive to Marera Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight. (Full board)

Back To Arusha Then Departure
