Uganda Safaris – The Pearl of Africa’s Untamed Wilderness
Uganda, known as the “Pearl of Africa,” offers an extraordinary safari experience with its diverse landscapes, abundant wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. From lush rainforests and rolling savannas to majestic mountains and sparkling lakes, Uganda provides a unique blend of adventure and tranquility.
One of the highlights of a Uganda safari is gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where visitors can encounter endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The country is also home to other primates, including chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and golden monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
For traditional game drives, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park boast a wide range of wildlife, including lions (some even climb trees), elephants, leopards, and buffalo. The mighty Nile River flows through Murchison Falls, offering breathtaking boat safaris with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Adventure seekers can explore the scenic Rwenzori Mountains, go white-water rafting on the Nile in Jinja, or take cultural tours to interact with indigenous communities such as the Batwa and Karamojong.
Uganda’s safaris offer an intimate and less crowded wildlife experience compared to other African destinations, making it an ideal choice for nature lovers and those seeking authentic, off-the-beaten-path adventures.

Reviews of Nature Responsible Safaris
Fantastic safari experience! Great communication and value - We spent a lot of time trying to decide which company to choose for our safari in Tanzania, and I am so happy that we decided on Nature Responsible Safari.... read more We spent a week in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and had the best time. Great itinerary and excellent choice of accommodations, at a fair price - better than other quotes I received. Our safari guide John was very knowledgeable, and also a really cool, fun person.
We just happened to come across Nature by searching for a very particular combination of location to visit and starting date. Safaris are generally expensive, and so I was a little hesitant at first, because other companies had thousands of reviews, however, from the first contact, Fransisca seemed so genuinely nice and inspired a lot of trust - in a way that other companies didn't. So I decided to go ahead and book. Communication before our trip was always timely and bank transfers went smoothly.
Once we arrived at Haraladi's Home in Arusha we were greeted with a level of hospitality that I've rarely experienced in my travels. I couldn't really explain why, but everyone was so laid-back, nice and accommodating - all in a very genuine way. You feel so welcomed as part of their family even just for a little while, and you don't feel like just another customer. At that point, we knew we were in good hands, and the week that followed turned out to be one of our greatest travel experiences ever. We saw so so SO many animals
I'm very happy with the choice that I've made and to anyone is reading this and feels unsure, I can say with great confidence that you won't regret picking Nature for your safari 🐾

See you again soon - As soon as I arrived at the lodge (after the guide had picked me up at the airport) I was warmly welcomed. You immediately feel at home at "Haradali". ... read more In the evening I got to know my fellow travelers on the safari and the next morning we set off with our guide - Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro - of course we could only experience a small part in the 6 days.
We could see that our guide loves his job. He saw animals that we could only see minutes later in the distance. They were unforgettable days - and it won't be the last trip. There is still much more to discover.
